Chromosomes are found in both plant and animal cells. The function of Chromosomes is to build the cell a certain way like a blueprint or building plan. The Chromosomes are found inside the nucleus because the nucleus is the control center which means it has to control the chromosomes. If the cell didn’t have any chromosomes, all cells would look the same, but if it was only missing one of its 46 chromosomes it would just be abnormal.
