The Golgi Apparatus is found in both plant and animal cells. The function of the Golgi Apparatus is to store protein in containers called vesicles which can then be transported outside of the cell and it also makes lysosomes. The Golgi Apparatus is located inside the cytoplasm. If cells didn’t have the Golgi Apparatus there would be no way for anything to be transported around.
